Special grace is that belief held by some in Christianity that says God extends common grace to all people, but a special grace to those whom he intends to save. Of course, there is much debate over whether or not God intends to save all people or specific people whom He predestined before the beginning of time. The writers of this guide are too cowardly to take a side on this issue and will instead say that both sides of the debate have merit, and therefore both should be carefully studied. The writer's further believe that creatures with a finite intelligence may not be able to comprehend the workings of a creator who possesses infinite knowledge.
