Who Are We?

First Hand- (Adjective) 1.) Of or pertaining to the first or original source. 2.) Direct from the original source.

Access. It's a simple, six letter word that means “the right to enter.” When Jesus died on the cross, He gave us access to the throne of God. Prior to His sacrifice, only the few, such as Jewish priests, were allowed access to God, meaning they were the only ones who could pray to God on behalf of others, the only ones who could ask forgiveness of others, and the only ones who could really approach God.

After Jesus, everyone has access to God. We no longer need a priest or any other human to talk to God on our behalf, because Jesus fills that role. All followers of Christ, have access to Him, and are able to have a personal relationship with Jesus. If we know Him personally— if we pray to Him, and He responds to us through the leading of the Holy Spirit— we can honestly say we have first-hand knowledge from Christ, who is our original source.

That is the purpose of this website. To point people to Jesus Christ, whom we believe is the original source of life. If you already know Him, we want to help you know Him more deeply, to truly live in the freedom He provides and to better understand your faith. If you do not already know Him, we want to point you in His direction, in the hopes that one day you will experience the same first-hand relationship and the same freedom that we know. No pressure. No judging. No hunting you down a week from now and asking you to pray a prayer. Come with an open mind and learn. That's all we ask.
